You're Outa Here Film
The opening song of my 2001 New York City Drag CD [Rhombus], featuring the piano solos of Fats Waller with my added lyrics, is now an animated short film, produced by me and directed by New York animator George Griffin. George has been called "the quintessential independent American animator." His work includes self-referential cartoons, narratives, documentaries, and experiments with music. George has published flipbooks, written on animation, and taught animation studio courses at Harvard and Pratt. More news on the YOH film soon to come!

There was a review of my latest CD Language [Jazzed Media] in the British jazz mag Crescendo, which I've added to the reviews page on my site.
My New CD
What, already?! Well, these things take time, and I'm very happy to have recorded my first songs last month, duo pieces written with Dick Hyman, Eddie Arkin and Russell Ferrante, who btw just received TWO Grammy nominations, one with the Yellowjackets and one for his composition "Claire's Closet."
